Left handed Kramer guitars were a thing of the past for a good number of years, so it’s great to see this Gibson owned brand dipping its feet back into the southpaw market.
In this guide we’ll look at the entire current range of lefty Kramer guitars, plus we’ll also answer a few questions that you might have about the brand in general.
Does Kramer Make Left Handed Guitars?
Yes! Kramer offers 13 left handed guitars. This includes the SM-1 Figured, Baretta, Striker HSS, Pacer Classic, and Nightswan models from the brand’s ‘Original’ and ‘Modern’ ranges. The left handed Kramer Baretta, SM-1 Figured, Striker, and Pacer Classic are available in a choice of 3 colors each, while the Nightswan comes only in black.
In terms of price range, these guitars start at roughly $300 for the Pacer Classic, and top out at around $1200 for the brand new SM-1 Figured. So there should be a guitar for most budgets to be found within the Kramer stable!

Kramer SM-1 Figured Left Handed
The Kramer SM-1 Figured was recently unveiled at the start of 2023, and as luck would have it, all three models are available left handed. Great job, Kramer!
The main features found on this high performance shred machine include a mahogany body for a warm tone and lashings of sustain, a beautiful AAA flamed maple top, and a fast mahogany neck with a flat 14″ radius ebony fretboard.
A Floyd Rose 1000 series locking tremolo ensures that you can perform all of the divebombs and flutters you love whilst remaining perfectly in tune.
On pickup duties we have the legendary Seymour Duncan’s most popular pickup of all time – the legendary JB humbucker. In the middle and neck positions we have two single coil sized Seymour Duncan Cool Rails humbuckers for bright but powerful tones.

Kramer Baretta Left Handed
The Kramer Baretta has been rocking up stages since it was first introduced back in 1983. Notable artists include Eddie Van Halen, who was a regular Baretta player in his early touring days.
This stripped back shred beast has been re-introduced for 21st century players to enjoy and features all of the retro vibe and screaming tones that the originals were famed for.

The Kramer Pacer was one of the first guitars to be introduced by the brand in the early 1980s, and this new model aims to provide a budget-friendly take on that original classic rock legend.
Thoroughly built for speed and performance, the Pacer features an alder body for a well-balanced tone, a lightning fast 12″ radius fingerboard, powerful alnico humbuckers, and a licended Floyd Rose locking tremolo system.

Kramer Nightswan
The legendary shred sled from the late 80s returns to the Kramer line-up.
Featuring a double-cutaway mahogany body with a deep cut lower horn for unfettered access to all 24 jumbo frets, the NightSwan is powered by two Seymour Duncan JB humbucking pickups and is ready for deep whammy bar dives with its Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo and R2 locking nut.
The ebony fingerboard has a 16″ radius and features pearloid dot inlays in a distinctive “ping pong” pattern, while the back of the slim, C-shaped 3-piece hard maple neck is satin-finished, which makes it perfect for lightning-fast note flurries.
This ‘Swan has a gloss Jet Black Metallic finish, and an optional hardshell case is available.
