Known for its innovative headless guitar designs, Steinberger Guitars was founded in 1980 by Ned Steinberger. These uniquely designed guitars took the world by storm and very quickly demand began to greatly outstrip supply.
After being unable to keep up with demand, Steinberger was sold to Gibson Guitars in 1987 who continue to produce the instruments today.
As you’d expect from a company owned by Gibson there aren’t too many left handed guitars available from Steinberger. They offer up one of their electrics and two of their bass guitars in a lefty version, and you guessed it..they’re black.
Let’s take a look at the left handed selection from Steinberger…

Steinberger Website
The Steinberger website like many others has no obvious mention of which guitars are available left handed. In order to find out this information you’ll need to click on a model and then click on the ‘colors’ menu where it will display which finishes are available left handed (if any).
