Genuine left handed Fender Jazzmasters? YES PLEASE!!
It’s finally happening!! Fender has at long last announced what we’ve all been waiting so patiently for – left handed Jazzmasters! They’re USA-made, and we’ll have a choice of five fantastic colors, not one of which is black! What a fabulous start to 2019!
These new left handed Jazzmasters form part of Fender’s excellent American Pro range, which recently replaced the American Standard series.

Let’s check out a few of the main features…
V-Mod Pickups & Treble-Bleed Circuit. These single-coils have been developed by Michael Frank, a longtime pickup guru who is best known for creating the Eric Johnston signature pickup set. These overwound single-coils are perfectly suited to the Jazzmaster and provide plenty of hot-rodded vintage inspired warmth. A treble-bleed tone circuit allows players to retain high end clarity at all volume levels.
Modern ‘Deep C’ Neck Profile. Another feature on American Pro guitars, this modern neck profile is designed for comfort and speed. The extra mass and improved geometry offers up a more natural feel that’s equally suited for both chords and single-note playing.
Narrow Tall Frets. These frets make playing higher up on the fretboard easier as well as providing improved intonation.
Bridge. The new American Pro Jazzmaster bridge has been designed to provide ultimate stability. The screw-in arm makes dialling in your preferred tension simple.
I truly hope that now we’ve been offered them they will prove popular enough that Fender will be happy to keep left handed Jazzmasters in their range.
